Refined rectangular bonsai pot with Hui Wen feet
This Yixing refined rectangular bonsai pot with clean lines and a smooth, unglazed chocolate-brown finish. The pot features subtly rounded corners and auspicious symbol Huí wén (回紋) feet. Its lines are like a “return” word. This character has a long history. The glyph originates from the vortex form generated by the flow of water. From the structural point of view, the vortex shape of the water and the structure of the back are similar, both of which present a kind of centripetal cyclone. It means the uninterrupted return of the echo shape.
Material: Good quality YiXing purple clay, as called “zhisha”.
